Keystone Capital Acquires Lane Power & Energy Solutions, Inc.

Keystone Capital has completed the acquisition of Lane Power & Energy Solutions, Inc. (LPES), a Houston-based provider of underground hydrocarbon storage and turnkey EPC services for petrochemical, midstream and government customers. Keystone said it will partner with LPES management to expand capabilities, broaden service offerings and grow organically and via targeted acquisitions; transaction terms were not disclosed.

GEF Capital Partners Acquires Lifecycle Renewables

GEF Capital Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based sustainability-focused private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of Lifecycle Renewables, a Massachusetts-based producer of renewable heating oil (LR100). The investment will support increased production of LR100 and expansion of Lifecycle Renewables' geographic reach beyond the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to meet growing demand from institutional customers.

Pegasus operating advisor Dennis McGill is joining PCES as CEO and the capital will fund product development, an Innovation Center in Greensboro and accelerated global expansion; terms were not disclosed.

BP Energy Partners Commits Equity to Leading Edge Power Solutions

Dallas-based BP Energy Partners made an equity commitment to California-based Leading Edge Power Solutions to fund existing and future distributed generation installations and expand the company's Energy-as-a-Service platform. Leading Edge Power Solutions provides behind-the-meter, low-emission natural gas on-site generation and proprietary dispatch software to commercial and industrial customers, financed via energy services agreements.
