One Equity Partners Acquires Wheeler Fleet Solutions from VSE Corporation

One Equity Partners has agreed to acquire Wheeler Fleet Solutions, an aftermarket parts distributor serving medium- and heavy‑duty fleets, from VSE Corporation in a divestiture transaction. Comvest Credit Partners provided a senior secured credit facility to support the acquisition; Wheeler is headquartered in Somerset, Pennsylvania and employs roughly 300–400 people across multiple U.S. distribution centers.

Wisconsin River Partners Acquires Witmer Furniture

Wisconsin River Partners, a Wisconsin-based private investment group, has acquired Witmer Furniture, a solid wood furniture manufacturer headquartered in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. The deal closed on December 30, 2021; Witmer employs about 70 people and former owner Kevin Schlinkmann will remain as president and the largest shareholder.

WI FL Acquisition, LLC — a new entity formed by former majority owners Mark Bellissimo, Marsha Dammerman, Lisa Lourie, and Roger Smith — has completed the acquisition of Wellington International from Global Equestrian Group. The buyer group named Murray S. Kessler as CEO and said it will invest in the showgrounds and infrastructure to support the Winter Equestrian Festival and year-round events.

Lippert (LCI Industries) Acquires Freedman Seating Company

Lippert Components, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of LCI Industries, has acquired substantially all of the business assets of Freedman Seating Company, a Chicago-based manufacturer of transportation seating solutions. The acquisition expands Lippert’s product offering into seating and vehicle interiors for bus, rail, marine and commercial vehicle markets and preserves Freedman’s Chicago operations.

Weller Metalworks Acquires Laser Precision

Weller Metalworks, the fabrication platform established by LFM Capital, has acquired Laser Precision, a Libertyville, Illinois-based full-service metal fabricator. The add-on acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Weller's capabilities in laser cutting, forming, finishing and powder coating to better serve industrial equipment OEM customers.
