World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has acquired Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), one of Mexico’s leading lucha libre promotions, in a strategic move announced April 19, 2025. The deal expands WWE’s presence in the Mexican and broader Latin American markets and will be showcased by a cross-promotional event, NXT x AAA: Worlds Collide, on June 7, 2025 in Los Angeles.
