AUA-backed Gourmet Culinary Holdings Acquires Gourmet Foods

AUA Private Equity Partners, through its portfolio company Gourmet Culinary Holdings, has acquired Gourmet Foods, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of specialty prepared foods serving airline, hospitality, restaurant, catering, retail and corporate campus customers. The deal is the third add-on for the Gourmet Culinary Holdings platform as AUA seeks to expand national footprint and product offerings while partnering with the existing management team.

Latina Boulevard Foods Acquires C&R Food Services Inc. (assets)

CFS Brands Acquires Mercer Culinary

CFS Brands, a U.S.-based manufacturer of foodservice and healthcare products, has acquired Mercer Culinary, a Ronkonkoma, New York-based supplier of commercial-grade cutlery, kitchen tools, barware and apparel. Mercer will operate as a standalone business within CFS Brands as the companies integrate to expand product offerings and distribution for culinary and bar professionals.

Utz Brands Acquires RW Garcia

Utz Brands, Inc. has completed the acquisition of R.W. Garcia Holdings, LLC (RW Garcia) for $56 million, funded with cash on hand and borrowings under its revolving credit facility. RW Garcia is a family-owned maker of organic, better-for-you tortilla chips, crackers and corn chips with manufacturing facilities in Nevada and North Carolina; the deal adds production capacity and complementary product capabilities to Utz's portfolio and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

AURELIUS Acquires What's Cooking Savoury Division from What's Cooking Group NV

AURELIUS Private Equity (via its European Opportunities fund) has agreed to acquire the What's Cooking Savoury Division, a leading Benelux supplier of deli meats, spreads and savoury snacks, from What's Cooking Group NV in a carve-out transaction. Headquartered in Lievegem, Belgium, the Savoury Division employs ~1,500 people, operates six production facilities, and will be supported by AURELIUS to drive operational improvements and a buy-&-build growth strategy across the Benelux and Western Europe.
