Abenex has acquired Origin Group, a Rhône‑Alpes based designer, manufacturer and distributor of industrial sealing solutions, from Initiative & Finance, Elige Capital and one of the founding families, with management led by Bertrand Sée joining the capital. Origin Group generates approximately €30 million in annual sales; Abenex intends to accelerate market consolidation through external growth to build a leading player in the industrial sealing market.

Origin Seal Acquires Atlantic Joint

Origin Seal, backed by private equity firm Abenex, has acquired Atlantic Joint from Thierry Buissonneaud and Antoine Lefebvre. Atlantic Joint, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Nantes, specialises in custom cutting of joints, profiles and sleeves (generating over €3m in sales) — the deal expands Origin Seal's footprint in the Grand Ouest and adds custom-cutting capabilities to the platform.

Ennis Acquires Assets of Infoseal

Ennis, Inc. announced that a wholly owned subsidiary has entered into a letter of intent to acquire the assets and assume certain liabilities of Infoseal LLC, a Roanoke, Virginia producer of pressure-seal and tax forms. The Infoseal business will continue to operate under the Infoseal brand at its current facility and Ennis expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings in the current year.

DXP Enterprises Acquires Pro-Seal, Inc.

DXP Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE) completed the acquisition of Pro-Seal, Inc., a distributor of pumping systems, fluid sealing products and related services headquartered in Pontiac, Michigan. The deal (signed March 1, 2024) expands DXP's geographic footprint in the Great Lakes region and Alaska and is expected to be accretive to earnings; Pro-Seal reported approximately $19.9 million in trailing twelve-month sales and $1.5 million adjusted EBITDA.

Arkema Acquires Permoseal to Strengthen Adhesives Position in South Africa

Arkema completed the acquisition of Permoseal (owner of the Alcolin brand) on July 1, 2022, bringing a South African adhesives leader into its Bostik adhesive solutions offering. Permoseal generated €43 million in sales in 2021, operates two production plants in South Africa and will help Arkema/Bostik expand in South Africa and Sub‑Saharan Africa across construction, DIY and packaging markets.

Integrated Polymer Solutions (Arcline) Acquires Seal Science, Inc.

Integrated Polymer Solutions (IPS), a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Seal Science, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of engineered elastomeric sealing solutions serving aerospace, naval, medical and industrial markets. The deal is an add-on to IPS's materials science platform intended to expand capability and strengthen IPS's position in critical defense and high‑performance industrial end markets.
