Abenex-backed Origin Seal Acquires Interseal

Origin Seal, a portfolio company of private equity firm Abenex, has acquired Interseal, a French specialist in industrial sealing solutions founded in 1991. The deal — an add-on to Origin Seal — brings Interseal's ~€8m revenue and technical maintenance capabilities into the group to consolidate market position in France and support further European expansion.

Atlantic Joint, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Nantes, specialises in custom cutting of joints, profiles and sleeves (generating over €3m in sales) — the deal expands Origin Seal's footprint in the Grand Ouest and adds custom-cutting capabilities to the platform.

Ennis Acquires Assets of Infoseal

Ennis, Inc. announced that a wholly owned subsidiary has entered into a letter of intent to acquire the assets and assume certain liabilities of Infoseal LLC, a Roanoke, Virginia producer of pressure-seal and tax forms. The Infoseal business will continue to operate under the Infoseal brand at its current facility and Ennis expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings in the current year.

DXP Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE) completed the acquisition of Pro-Seal, Inc., a distributor of pumping systems, fluid sealing products and related services headquartered in Pontiac, Michigan. The deal (signed March 1, 2024) expands DXP's geographic footprint in the Great Lakes region and Alaska and is expected to be accretive to earnings; Pro-Seal reported approximately $19.9 million in trailing twelve-month sales and $1.5 million adjusted EBITDA.
