H.I.G. Europe Acquires Meyra Group and Alu Rehab to Create Mobility Equipment Platform

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has signed definitive agreements to acquire Meyra Group S.A. and Alu Rehab A/S and combine them into a single European mobility equipment manufacturer. The combined group will integrate complementary product lines (active/e-powered wheelchairs and comfort seating systems), retain current management teams, and pursue geographic expansion and further acquisitions to grow market share.

MBL employs approximately 1,700 people across Europe and Asia and holds over 100 registered patents.
