Founder Michael Miller sold the business and will remain as General Manager, with all employees retained as Riverbend expands its presence in the Houston market.

The deal is an add-on acquisition that expands the Riverbend platform's presence into the Houston market; Backyard Paradise's owner Mitchell Buckley will remain in a leadership role and retain an ownership stake.

The Claffey family (Brian, Shelly, and Charlie Claffey) will remain in leadership roles and retain substantial ownership stakes as the deal serves as an add-on to Riverbend's DFW platform to expand capabilities and market share.

Sunrise, founded in 1999 and operating a 3,000 sq. ft. facility, specializes in residential inground pools and works with subcontractors; Australis said the acquisition will be leveraged to facilitate future construction-industry acquisitions.
