Huron Capital’s portfolio company The Exigent Group, together with its operating company Smith-Boughan Mechanical, has acquired Premier Mechanical, a commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical services provider based in Lima, Ohio. The add-on expands Exigent/Smith-Boughan’s footprint in Northwest Ohio and strengthens their technical capabilities for commercial, industrial and complex facility customers.

(ATCO), a union mechanical services provider based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and Global Facility Solutions (GFS), an energy-efficiency and engineering services firm based in Columbia, Maryland. These transactions are add-on acquisitions for Exigent that expand its geographic coverage into New England and broaden its sustainability, energy-efficiency, and engineering capabilities across the platform’s eastern U.S. footprint.
