BASF and Entegris Sign Agreement for Sale of Precision Microchemicals Business to Entegris

BASF and Entegris have signed an agreement for Entegris to acquire BASF’s Precision Microchemicals business for $90 million. The business—part of BASF’s Chemetall Surface Treatment unit—develops and markets high-purity cleaning chemistries and CMP slurries for microelectronics, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
