BMO Financial Group has agreed to acquire Clearpool Group Inc., a New York-based provider of electronic trading solutions and an independent agency broker-dealer. The acquisition will add Clearpool’s algorithmic trading technology and broker-dealer client base to BMO’s electronic trading platform; the deal is expected to close in the second quarter pending regulatory approvals, with terms undisclosed.

BIGG Digital Assets Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of TerraZero Technologies Inc. for approximately 62 million BIGG common shares (valued at about $20 million), with closing expected in September 2023 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. TerraZero, a Vancouver-based Web3/metaverse development firm serving clients such as PwC, Warner Music and Miller Lite, will become a wholly-owned subsidiary and is expected to expand BIGG's metaverse capabilities and revenue streams.
