Apollo Funds Acquire Majority Stake in Total Operations and Production Services (TOPS)

Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management acquired a majority interest in Total Operations and Production Services, LLC (TOPS) from Black Bay Energy Capital. The investment will support TOPS' continued growth as a provider of low-emission, electric-driven gas compression services in the Permian Basin and expand its capabilities to serve growing demand for electrified compression solutions.

Archrock, Inc. will acquire Total Operations and Production Services, LLC (TOPS) from investment funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at $983 million. The deal adds approximately 580,000 horsepower (predominantly electric motor drive compression), deepens Archrock's Permian Basin footprint and electric compression capabilities, and is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings and cash available for dividend per share.

Turbopower, an MRO provider for gas turbine engines, auxiliary power units and components based in Opa-Locka, Florida, was acquired by Battle Investment Group and Capricorn Holdings in a transaction that closed on June 21, 2021. Vlad Miskovic will become President as the new owners plan internal investments, capability expansion and footprint growth to support commercial and military customers worldwide; terms were not disclosed.

EthosEnergy Acquires Turbine Services, Ltd.
