Iridium Communications to Acquire Aireon LLC

Iridium Communications has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aireon LLC, operator of the world’s only space-based ADS-B air traffic surveillance system. Iridium will purchase the remaining 61% of Aireon for approximately $366.7 million and assume about $155 million of Aireon’s debt, with the deal targeted to close in early July 2026.

Acron Technologies Acquires Alereon, Inc. to Expand Defense UWB Communications Capabilities

Acron Technologies, a portfolio company of TJC, L.P., has acquired Alereon, Inc., a fabless semiconductor provider focused on ultra-wideband (UWB) solutions for defense electronics. The deal strengthens Acron’s defense communications portfolio by adding secure, low-power, high-bandwidth “Intra-Soldier Wireless” (ISW) cable-free networking capabilities for real-time communications.

Albireo Energy (Huron Capital) Acquires Alabama Controls

The add-on expands Albireo's footprint into the southeastern U.S., deepens relationships in the government and higher education sectors, and retains current Alabama Controls management; financial terms were not disclosed.
