Cogne Acciai Speciali Acquires Special Melted Products Ltd.

Cogne Acciai Speciali S.p.A. has signed an agreement to acquire Special Melted Products Ltd., a Sheffield-based supplier of melted, forged and precision-machined specialty steels and nickel-based superalloys, from Mutares SE & Co. KGaA. The share purchase, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, is intended to strengthen Cogne's capabilities and create synergies with its Aosta operations.
