Continuim Equity Partners, a Pittsburgh-based private equity firm, has acquired NC Filtration, a Belmont, North Carolina manufacturer of consumable air filtration products and negative air units. The deal serves as Continuim’s second platform investment in CEP Fund II and the initial investment within its Air Filtration investment thesis; Continuim will partner with the founding Kershaw family and install industry veteran Phil Whitaker as CEO to accelerate growth and pursue a nationwide platform strategy.
