Cook & Boardman Acquires Botzum Bros Hardware

Cook & Boardman Group LLC, a Littlejohn & Co.-backed distributor of commercial doors, frames and hardware, has acquired Akron, Ohio-based Botzum Bros Hardware LLC. Botzum Bros will continue to operate under its name with owner Al Hilkert remaining to manage the business; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is an add-on to Cook & Boardman and expands the platform's presence in the Northeastern Ohio commercial construction market.
