Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX) completed its $325 million all-cash acquisition of Crown Technical Systems, a designer and manufacturer of power distribution and protection systems. The deal expands Flex’s critical power portfolio into utility power and modular data center markets and adds an expected ~$120 million revenue business to its Industrial Business unit.

Revive Infrastructure Group Acquires Crown Utilities

EQT to Acquire Crown Castle's Small Cells Solutions Business and Zayo to Acquire Fiber Solutions

Crown Castle has entered into definitive agreements to sell its Small Cells Solutions business to an EQT Active Core Infrastructure fund for about $4.25 billion. In a separate but concurrent deal, Zayo (backed by DigitalBridge and EQT) will acquire Crown Castle’s Fiber Solutions business for about $4.25 billion, with the combined fiber + small cells transaction valued at approximately $8.5 billion.

SIONYX Acquires Amigen (American Imaging Engineering)

Silicon-based photonics company SIONYX has acquired American Imaging Engineering (Amigen), a thermal imaging systems and imaging-fusion software provider. The acquisition brings Amigen's founder Jeffrey Lee into SIONYX as Chief Technology Officer and is intended to accelerate development and integration of fused thermal and visible imaging technologies across SIONYX's consumer, commercial and defense product lines.

Kodiak Acquires Crown Carbon Reduction Technologies and US Chemical

Cincinnati-based specialty chemical company Kodiak has acquired Crown Carbon Reduction Technologies and US Chemical to expand its manufacturing footprint, product portfolio and presence in the energy and mining end markets. The deals add new product lines (dust control, freeze conditioning, water treatment chemicals and fuel catalysts), nine manufacturing locations (bringing Kodiak to nine production sites) and additional employees to accelerate cross-selling and service capabilities.
