Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has completed the acquisition of Athonet, a Vicenza, Italy–based private cellular/mobile core software provider, integrating Athonet’s private 4G/5G core technology into HPE’s edge-to-cloud, Aruba networking and GreenLake offerings. The deal strengthens HPE’s private 5G capability, enabling integrated Wi‑Fi and private 5G deployments for enterprises and communications service providers and accelerating go-to-market at global scale.

i3 Broadband has completed the acquisition of Big River Broadband and its wholly owned subsidiary Circle Fiber, expanding i3's fiber-to-the-home footprint into southeast Missouri.
