Hewlett Packard Enterprise Acquires Axis Security

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) agreed to acquire Axis Security, a Tel Aviv-based cloud-native Security Service Edge (SSE) provider, to expand HPE’s edge-to-cloud SASE capabilities. HPE will integrate Axis Security’s Atmos platform with Aruba networking and HPE GreenLake to offer a unified SASE/SSE solution as-a-service; the deal is expected to close by the end of HPE’s FY2023 Q2, subject to customary conditions.

Silver Peak will be combined with HPE's Aruba business unit to extend Aruba's Edge Services Platform and accelerate HPE's edge-to-cloud networking strategy; the deal is expected to close in HPE's fiscal Q4 2020 subject to regulatory approvals.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) completed its all-cash acquisition of Juniper Networks for $40.00 per share (approximately $14 billion equity value), combining Juniper's AI-native networking capabilities with HPE's hybrid cloud and AI portfolio. The deal doubles HPE's networking business, is expected to be accretive to non-GAAP EPS in year one, and positions the combined company to deliver an end-to-end, AI-driven networking stack for enterprise, service provider, and cloud customers.
