Hewlett Packard Enterprise Acquires Axis Security

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) agreed to acquire Axis Security, a Tel Aviv-based cloud-native Security Service Edge (SSE) provider, to expand HPE’s edge-to-cloud SASE capabilities. HPE will integrate Axis Security’s Atmos platform with Aruba networking and HPE GreenLake to offer a unified SASE/SSE solution as-a-service; the deal is expected to close by the end of HPE’s FY2023 Q2, subject to customary conditions.

The deal strengthens HPE’s private 5G capability, enabling integrated Wi‑Fi and private 5G deployments for enterprises and communications service providers and accelerating go-to-market at global scale.
