Threadlock Precision, an operating platform backed by The D. E. Shaw Group, has acquired J&F Machine, a Cypress, California-based precision CNC machining business serving aerospace, defense and commercial markets. The acquisition is an early add-on in Threadlock Precision's plan to build an integrated network of precision manufacturers and will provide J&F with operational support, technology modernization and growth capital.

Threadlock Precision Acquires Kremin Inc.

Threadlock Precision, a U.S. precision manufacturing platform backed by the D. E. Shaw group, has acquired Kremin Inc., a Frankenmuth, Michigan-based CNC machining firm serving aerospace, defense and medical customers for more than 40 years. The deal adds Kremin's Swiss machining and tight-tolerance capabilities to Threadlock’s precision manufacturing network to support a wider range of aerospace and defense customer programs and to modernize and scale Kremin's operations.

Compass Precision Acquires R&D Machine and Engineering, Inc.

G.S. Precision Acquires SMC Aerospace

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions Acquires D&R Machine Company

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired D&R Machine Company, a Southampton, Pennsylvania-based provider of high-complexity CNC precision machining for the aerospace & defense market. The add-on expands the Cadrex platform's North American aerospace manufacturing footprint and adds D&R's nearly 40-machine CNC capacity, AS9100/ISO 9001 certifications and ITAR-registered facility to the platform.

DRT Holdings Acquires Custom Machining Corporation

DRT Holdings, LLC (DRT), a portfolio company of Mill Rock Capital, has acquired Custom Machining Corporation (CMC), a Denver-based maker of high-speed, high-precision liner systems and parts for the metal packaging industry. The founders, Terri and Allan Ross, will step back following the transaction; CMC will join DRT's Metal Packaging Systems (DRT MPS) segment to broaden product capabilities, aftermarket parts and geographic reach. Terms were not disclosed.
