Sharecare acquired WhiteHatAI, an AI-driven healthcare payment integrity company based in Cary, North Carolina, to bolster its capabilities in detecting fraud, waste and abuse and extracting unstructured clinical data for payers and providers. The acquisition will integrate WhiteHatAI’s pre-payment claims review and AI tools across Sharecare’s platform to improve payment accuracy, cash flow and revenue cycle management; financial terms were not disclosed.

Netwrix Acquires New Net Technologies (NNT)

Netwrix Corporation has acquired New Net Technologies (NNT), a software maker of change, configuration, vulnerability and asset management solutions. Terms were not disclosed; the deal expands Netwrix’s technical capabilities in the Identify and Protect functions of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and brings NNT customers access to the Netwrix security and compliance portfolio.

Akamai Technologies Acquires API Security Company Neosec

Akamai Technologies has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Neosec, an API detection-and-response platform headquartered in Palo Alto (with operations in Tel Aviv). The acquisition expands Akamai's application and API security capabilities by adding Neosec's API visibility and behavioral-analytics technology; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2023 and is not expected to add material revenue for 2023.

Accenture Acquires Revolutionary Security

HUMAN Security Acquires PerimeterX to Create Unified Human Defense Platform

HUMAN Security (formerly White Ops) and PerimeterX announced a merger in which PerimeterX will join the HUMAN company to form a combined cybersecurity business under the HUMAN brand. The combined company will have more than 450 employees, 500+ customers and over $100 million in ARR; the deal was approved by both boards and has received regulatory approval. HUMAN secured a $100 million debt facility from Blackstone Credit and previously raised $100 million in growth funding led by WestCap and NightDragon to support the move.

Zimperium Acquires whiteCryption

Zimperium, a Dallas-based mobile security company, has acquired whiteCryption — a provider of application shielding and white‑box cryptography — from an investment group led by Intertrust. The acquisition will integrate whiteCryption’s advanced code- and key-protection technologies into Zimperium’s Mobile Application Protection Suite to expand app shielding and key protection capabilities for mobile and IoT deployments.
