J&J Ventures Gaming Acquires Assets of Illinois Gold Rush Inc

J&J Ventures Gaming, LLC has acquired substantially all assets of Illinois Gold Rush Inc., a terminal operator with offices in Alton, Illinois and Florissant, Missouri that served about 50 licensed gaming locations. The deal brings Illinois Gold Rush's customers and employees (including president Tom Parsons) into J&J's operations, increasing J&J's serviced locations in Illinois and expanding its broader North American route footprint.

Penn National Gaming Acquires Operations of Hollywood Casino Perryville

Penn National Gaming completed the acquisition of the operations of Hollywood Casino Perryville from Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. for $31.1 million in cash and entered into a lease with GLPI for the facility real estate with annual rent of approximately $7.77 million. The deal, approved by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission, expands Penn National's regional gaming footprint and omni-channel sports betting capabilities in Maryland.

The State Group Acquires J&J Electric of Indiana

The State Group, a portfolio company of funds managed by Apollo, has acquired Kokomo-based electrical contractor J&J Electric of Indiana, expanding its footprint in Central and Northern Indiana. J&J Electric brings over 200 union electricians and capabilities in electrical construction, maintenance, fire, security, communications, utility and safety systems to The State Group's multi-trade platform.

Shamrock Environmental Acquires JG Environmental
