BridgeTower Media, a portfolio company of Transom Capital Group, has acquired ColoradoBiz, the largest business publication serving the state of Colorado since 1973. BridgeTower said it will leverage its audience platform, digital capabilities and events expertise to accelerate growth and expand ColoradoBiz’s reach in the Rocky Mountain market.

Transom Capital Acquires BridgeTower Media

Transom Capital Group has acquired BridgeTower Media, a B2B information, research, events and marketing platform formerly a subsidiary of Gannett Co. BridgeTower operates more than 40 print and digital brands across 25+ U.S. markets; Transom said it will invest in technology and resources to grow the business. Cerberus Business Finance provided financing for the transaction and JEGI acted as financial advisor to Gannett.

DigitalBridge Investment Management Acquires Controlling Stake in Vertical Bridge

Funds affiliated with DigitalBridge Investment Management have acquired a controlling stake in Vertical Bridge Holdings, LLC, the largest private owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure in the United States. The investment consolidates ownership to support Vertical Bridge’s continued scaling across more than 308,000 sites (including 8,000+ towers) and to capitalize on growing demand for 5G and other next-generation telecom infrastructure.

Rockbridge Growth Equity Acquires Majority Stake in Vici Media

Rockbridge Growth Equity has made a majority investment in Vici Media, a Philadelphia-based provider of white-label digital marketing and advertising solutions, forming Rockbridge's new digital media platform. Vici's founders will remain minority equity holders and continue to lead the business; terms were not disclosed and Rockbridge intends to pursue product investment and inorganic growth to scale the platform.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires Best Version Media

H.I.G. Capital (through an affiliate) has completed the acquisition of Best Version Media (BVM), a Brookfield, Wisconsin–headquartered provider of hyper-local print and digital advertising solutions serving over 30,000 SMB clients. The transaction represents an exit for prior investor Bertram Capital; financial terms were not disclosed. H.I.G. said the investment will support expansion of BVM's products and services for both customers and independent publishers.

BridgeTower Media Acquires Grace Media

BridgeTower Media has acquired Grace Media, the publisher of Window Fashion VISION and producer of the International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE). The acquisition expands BridgeTower's B2B media and events portfolio into the window coverings and home-furnishings vertical; Grace McNamara (founder) is exiting and Ania Munzer will remain in her leadership role. Financial terms were not disclosed; Grace Media was represented by Franklin Partners and Winthrop & Weinstine.
