The deal will combine JSA's autograph expertise and database with CCG's grading and encapsulation services to offer collectors a seamless authentication-and-grading experience, with the JSA leadership team remaining in place after closing.

Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), a division of Collectors Universe, has acquired Genamint, Inc., a machine-vision software company that provides real-time card diagnostics, measurements and card fingerprinting to scale and improve trading-card grading. Genamint founder Kevin Lenane joins PSA as VP of Product Management and the Genamint team will integrate with PSA to help increase throughput, accuracy and tracking of provenance amid record submission volumes.
