Pandion Optimization Alliance Acquires GroupSource GPO

Pandion Optimization Alliance has acquired GroupSource GPO, a Midwest-focused group purchasing organization specializing in ambulatory care, physicians' offices and colleges. The acquisition adds GroupSource's 10,000+ membership base and is expected to inorganically add more than $350 million in sales volume to Pandion's portfolio, supporting Pandion's goal to exceed $1 billion in GPO volume.

Surgical Information Systems Acquires SourceMed

Surgical Information Systems (SIS) has acquired SourceMed, a provider of ambulatory surgery center (ASC) software and services, adding SourceMed's AdvantX, Vision and SurgiSource products plus advisory and revenue cycle capabilities to the SIS product suite. The combined organization will operate as Surgical Information Systems and aims to strengthen SIS's ability to serve hospitals, ASCs, and ASC management companies with expanded perioperative IT and revenue cycle offerings.
