Amynta Group, through its subsidiary First Nonprofit Companies, Inc. (FNP), has acquired Michigan-based Unemployment Services, Inc. (USI). The acquisition expands FNP's unemployment insurance cost-control and claims-administration capabilities, allowing it to better serve both nonprofit and private-sector employers; Kent Downey, USI's founder and president, will remain leading the business.
