Canada Cartage Acquires The GTI Group to Enter U.S. Market

Canada Cartage Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The GTI Group, a Montreal-based logistics provider offering brokerage, freight management, forwarding, drayage, intermodal, warehousing and specialized heavy/oversize trucking. The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.

(TLSS) entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all assets of GRC Trucking, Inc., a 30-year intermodal logistics and drayage provider based in Kearney, New Jersey. The asset purchase (to be paid in TLSS common stock) is intended to expand TLSS' intermodal, import/export and drayage capabilities and realize operating-synergies with its PrimeEFS and ShypDirect hubs in New Jersey.

Bridgepoint Investment Banking acted as sole buy‑side M&A advisor and financing arranger on the transaction, which positions Badlands among the larger carriers with a combined fleet of over 170 trucks across major U.S. oil basins.

Antin Infrastructure Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in GTL Leasing, a leading lessor of high‑pressure gaseous hydrogen transport and storage equipment in North America. The investment (via Antin's NextGen Fund I) will expand GTL's product portfolio and scale its platform to pursue opportunities across transit, logistics and industrial end markets while GTL's founder Michael Koonce will remain CEO.

ID Logistics has completed the acquisition of 100% of GVT Transport & Logistics, the transport and logistics division of GVT Group of Logistics, strengthening its Benelux footprint. GVT operates 12 sites (headquartered in Tilburg, Netherlands), employs more than 750 people, rents ~200,000 m² of warehouses and runs a fleet of 285 trucks, serving mainly international electronics and non-food retail customers.
