Pointsharp Acquires SecMaker with Support from Main Capital

Pointsharp, a Main Capital-backed Swedish IAM software company, has acquired SecMaker, a Nordic provider of certificate-based security and digital identity solutions. The deal is the first step in Pointsharp's buy-and-build strategy to build a leading European identity and access management provider, strengthening capabilities in healthcare and public-sector IAM and enabling a new cloud offering (Live iD).

Main Capital Partners has acquired Norwegian cloud-native document management SaaS provider Documaster from Summa Equity, which fully exited its investment. Since Summa's 2017 investment, Documaster grew more than 15x in revenue, reached profitability in 2024, and now has nearly 100 employees and ~750 customers (primarily public sector) across the Nordics and the Netherlands. Main Capital will aim to scale Documaster further across the Benelux and Nordic markets.
