Suzano Acquires Two U.S. Industrial Facilities from Pactiv Evergreen

Brazilian pulp and paper producer Suzano S.A. completed the acquisition of two U.S. industrial facilities — the Pine Bluff paper mill (Arkansas) and the Waynesville extrusion facility (North Carolina) — from Pactiv Evergreen Inc. for a combined transaction value of approximately US$110 million. The deal expands Suzano’s manufacturing footprint in the United States and secures additional production assets for its packaging and paper operations.
