Titanium Transportation Group Inc. acquired all shares of International Truckload Services Group (ITS) for approximately $60.5 million (cash and assumption of net debt), adding ITS' assets, footprint and customer base to Titanium's platform. ITS, founded in 1986 and based in Belleville, Ontario, generates about $80 million in annual revenue, operates ~330 power units and 1,600 trailers, and employs roughly 470 people; the deal expands Titanium's scale and geographic coverage across southern Ontario, Quebec and the United States.

Titanium Transportation Group (TSX:TTNM) acquired the assets and equipment of Crane Transport of Oakwood, Georgia, in a transaction valued at US$53 million plus US$6 million for real estate. The acquisition adds roughly 200 trucks, two terminals in Georgia and Alabama, and about US$60 million of annual revenue, accelerating Titanium’s U.S. expansion and bolstering its Southeast freight capacity.

Canada Cartage Acquires The GTI Group to Enter U.S. Market

Canada Cartage Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The GTI Group, a Montreal-based logistics provider offering brokerage, freight management, forwarding, drayage, intermodal, warehousing and specialized heavy/oversize trucking. The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.
