Pelco Products, an Edmond, Oklahoma-based portfolio company of River Associates, acquired Component Products, Inc., a family-owned traffic and light pole manufacturer based in Elmhurst, Illinois. The add-on transaction closed on October 3, 2024 and will keep CPI operating in Elmhurst while expanding Pelco's product offering, capacity and geographic footprint across the U.S. and Canada.

Pelco Products, Inc. Acquires PedSafety

The add-on expands Pelco's product portfolio by integrating PedSafety's pedestrian-focused technology with Pelco's traffic management hardware to deliver more comprehensive intersection and mid-block safety solutions across North America.

Pelco Products Acquires Novax Industries Corporation

Edmond, Oklahoma-based Pelco Products, a portfolio company of River Associates Investments, has acquired Novax Industries Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of traffic management and pedestrian access solutions based in Delta, British Columbia. The add-on acquisition expands Pelco’s product offering in intelligent transportation systems and strengthens its position as a single-source solutions provider in the traffic industry.

River Associates Acquires Presco Polymers

River Associates partnered with Presco Polymers' management to acquire Presco, a Sherman, Texas-based manufacturer of commercial marking products and customized PVC films. Financing for the transaction was provided by NXT Capital and junior capital provider Northstar Capital (which also made an equity co-investment); River plans to pursue add-on acquisitions to grow Presco.

Motorola Solutions Acquires Pelco

Motorola Solutions completed the acquisition of Pelco, Inc., a Fresno-based global provider of video security cameras and video management system software, for $110 million in cash. The deal, announced August 3, 2020, expands Motorola Solutions' video security and analytics capabilities and broadens its footprint with enterprise and public safety customers; Pelco had been owned by Transom Capital Group prior to the sale.

Pelco Products Acquires TraffiCalm and MOR Manufacturing

Pelco Products, an Edmond, Oklahoma portfolio company of River Associates, has acquired TraffiCalm Systems, LLC and MOR Manufacturing LLC to form a national traffic safety and traffic hardware leader. Both acquired businesses will operate autonomously from their Post Falls, Idaho location, with John Ragan remaining president of TraffiCalm and Pelco continuing to integrate complementary product lines.
