TPG Agrees to Acquire Samhwa

TPG Inc. has agreed to acquire a 100% stake in South Korean cosmetic packaging supplier Samhwa Co. in a deal valued in the mid-$230 million range. The transaction will purchase controlling shares held by CEO Cho Seong-hwan, founder Cho Hwi-cheol and affiliated persons, with CEO Cho expected to retain a minority stake.
