ERIKS North America Acquires Branham Corporation

ERIKS North America (ENA), a portfolio company of LKCM Headwater Investments, has acquired the assets of Branham Corporation, a Louisville-based fabricator and distributor of industrial hoses, gaskets, conveyor belts and related services. The transaction brings Branham's five fabrication/distribution plants, eight sales locations and a team of more than 100 employees into ENA's North American platform to expand geographic coverage and product/service capabilities.

ERIKS North America Acquires DeeTag Ltd.

ERIKS North America, a PE-backed industrial distributor, has acquired DeeTag Ltd., a Canada-based supplier and manufacturer of hydraulic hose assemblies and fluid-power components. The add-on expands ERIKS North America’s fluid power capabilities and Canadian footprint while integrating DeeTag’s OEM and MRO distribution and assembly operations into ERIKS’ platform.

Rubix Group (Advent-owned) Acquires ERIKS UK & Ireland

Rubix Group, majority-owned by Advent International, has completed the acquisition of ERIKS UK & Ireland, combining two multi-specialist industrial distributors to expand Rubix's flow-technology capabilities and strengthen its UK market position. The transaction coincides with a minority equity investment in Rubix led by Neuberger Berman Private Markets, with participation from Adams Street Partners, LGT Capital Partners, J. Safra Sarasin Asset Management and funds/accounts managed by BlackRock; Advent remains the majority shareholder. The combined UK business and Rubix operations now drive a larger MRO platform with combined annual revenues in excess of €850 million.

Headwall Group Acquires EVK DI Kerschhaggl GmbH

Headwall Group, a Bolton, Massachusetts-based portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Austria-based EVK DI Kerschhaggl GmbH (EVK), a developer of industrial sensor-based sorting and inspection systems. The acquisition expands Headwall's hyperspectral imaging and sensor capabilities to better serve markets such as food processing, plastics recycling, and material sorting.

KKR Acquires Majority Stake in ERM from OMERS Private Equity and AIMCo

KKR has signed an agreement to acquire a majority position in Environmental Resources Management (ERM) from OMERS Private Equity and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), with ERM management and Partners remaining minority investors. The transaction, intended to accelerate ERM's growth and broaden its sustainability capabilities and technologies, is expected to close in Q3 2021 subject to regulatory approvals; financial terms were not disclosed.

Platinum Equity Acquires Majority Interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co.

Platinum Equity has closed the transaction to acquire a majority interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co., establishing Kohler Energy as an independent, standalone business. Kohler Co. remains an investment partner, Brian Melka will serve as CEO and David Kohler will sit on the board; financial terms were not disclosed. Platinum Equity said it will invest in growth and operational initiatives to accelerate Kohler Energy's position in the global energy resilience market.
