GTCR and Recognize Acquire TRANZACT from WTW

GTCR, alongside Recognize, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire TRANZACT in a corporate carve-out from WTW PLC for $632.4 million. TRANZACT — a Fort Lee, New Jersey–based direct-to-consumer insurance services and customer-acquisition platform — will operate as an independent company led by Andy Nelson and will receive capital to expand and enhance its marketing, sales and technology capabilities for insurance carriers.

Front Acquires Windsor.io

Front, the San Francisco–based customer operations platform, has acquired AI startup Windsor.io to accelerate Front's AI roadmap and deliver advanced AI-powered deflection, automation, and personalized video capabilities to customer support teams. The Windsor.io team and technology will be integrated into Front to speed delivery of features like AI Answers, AI Tagging, and other agent productivity tools.

WTW Acquires Global Commercial Credit and ProfitGuard

WTW (Willis Towers Watson) has acquired Michigan-based Global Commercial Credit (GCC) and ProfitGuard to expand its credit risk and trade credit insurance capabilities within its Willis broking business. The deal strengthens WTW's specialist credit and political risk offering and provides additional credit information and monitoring services to support growth in North America.
