Ecobat Completes Sale of Lithium Recycling Business, Exits Lithium Market

Ecobat has completed the sale of its lithium recycling business, completing its exit from lithium recycling. The divestiture includes Ecobat’s lithium-ion battery recycling operations and assets in Casa Grande, Arizona, following previously completed divestitures of lithium operations in Darlaston (United Kingdom) and Hettstedt (Germany). Ecobat will focus resources on its North American lead recycling platform.

Ecobat Agrees to Sell Germany and Austria Battery Recycling Operations to Clarios

The deal covers Ecobat facilities in Freiberg and Braubach, Germany, and the Arnoldstein operation in Austria, and is expected to close by early 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.

Haiki+ Acquires Ecobat's Italian Battery and Polypropylene Recycling Business

The transaction marks Ecobat’s exit from the Italian market and transfers the Italian recycling operations to Haiki+, a Milan-listed circular-economy holding company.
