Bain Capital Private Equity has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Eleda, the Stockholm-headquartered Nordic infrastructure projects and services group, from Altor, which will retain a minority stake. Eleda's founders and management will reinvest, and Bain will partner with the team to accelerate growth—particularly in segments tied to the green transition such as water, power distribution, district heating, roads, data centres and EV charging.

The add-on expands Eleda Group's regional coverage into the Stockholm–Mälaren region; Salbohed AB reports roughly SEK 400 million in annual revenue and about 50 full-time employees plus 30 contractors.
