An affiliate of Peak Rock Capital has completed the acquisition of Spatial Business Systems (SBS) in partnership with the company's founders and management. SBS, a Denver-based provider of intelligent design and spatial data integration software for utilities and infrastructure firms, will receive investment to accelerate product development and geographic expansion.

Spatial Business Systems, a portfolio company of Peak Rock Capital, has acquired GeoSpatial Innovations, Inc. (GSI), a provider of distribution design and vegetation management software for the power and utility industry. The add-on acquisition, which closed January 2, 2026, expands SBS’s intelligent design platform with GSI’s cloud-based Distribution Design Studio (DDS) and mobile Forester field offerings to better serve utilities and infrastructure customers across North America and Europe.

Blackstone to Acquire Enverus from Hellman & Friedman and Genstar Capital

Blackstone announced it has entered into a definitive agreement for private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone to acquire Enverus, a data analytics energy intelligence and SaaS platform, from Hellman & Friedman and Genstar Capital. The transaction terms were not disclosed and is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to customary conditions.
