BPEA Private Equity Fund VIII, an affiliated fund of BPEA EQT, will acquire IMG Academy from Endeavor Group Holdings for an enterprise value of USD 1.25 billion. The transaction is being completed in partnership with portfolio company Nord Anglia Education, which plans to integrate IMG Academy's sports-focused curriculum across its global school network and support IMG's international expansion, particularly into Asia.

EQT to Acquire Majority Stake in Universidad Europea from Permira

EQT Invests in Compass Education to Accelerate Product and International Growth

As part of the transaction Advent Partners will exit its investment and Compass founder John de la Motte remains a significant shareholder; the deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

THI Investments Acquires Oxford International Education Group; Nord Anglia Buys Schools Division

EQT AB has agreed to acquire Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) in a €6.8bn transaction comprising 191.2m new EQT shares and ~€1.5bn–€1.6bn in cash, creating a scaled Pan-Asian active ownership platform rebranded as BPEA EQT Asia. The combination brings BPEA's private equity and real estate capabilities into EQT's global platform, with BPEA CEO Jean Eric Salata to lead the combined Asian business.

Eton, the Swedish luxury menswear brand headquartered in Gånghester, has been sold by EQT VII to a consortium of private long-term investors led by Mikael Schiller, Caspar Callerström and Thomas von Koch. The new owners, selected by Eton's lenders with support from EQT, will back management to continue expanding the brand's omnichannel presence, digital capabilities and international growth.
