Evertec to Acquire Controlling Stake in Tecnobank

Evertec, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 75% controlling stake in Tecnobank Tecnologia Bancária S.A., a fintech focused on digital vehicle financing contract registration in Brazil. The transaction is valued at R$787 million (about USD $144 million) and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to customary conditions including Brazilian competition authority approval (CADE).
