Exus Renewables North America announced it has acquired Ozone Renewables to expand its in-house greenfield development capabilities and strengthen its early-stage renewable energy project pipeline. The acquisition brings Ozone’s team and pipeline across wind, solar, and energy storage, with the greenfield development effort focused across PJM, MISO, WECC, and SPP territories.

NovaSource Power Services (a Clairvest-backed platform) completed the acquisition of First Solar’s North American operations & maintenance business (First Solar Energy Services), making NovaSource the largest solar O&M provider globally. Clairvest provided incremental equity to support the deal; the transaction transfers First Solar’s North American O&M operations to NovaSource to deepen O&M capabilities across utility, commercial, industrial and residential solar assets.

EQT (via Otello BidCo AB) Acquires OX2 AB

EQT Infrastructure VI, through acquisition vehicle Otello BidCo AB, completed a recommended public offer to acquire 100% of OX2 AB at SEK 60 per share and now controls 98.81% of the company; OX2 has applied for delisting from Nasdaq Stockholm. EQT says it will support OX2's evolution from a pure developer to an integrated renewables developer and asset owner and provide additional investment to grow the company's pipeline across onshore/offshore wind, solar and storage.

Ares Management Acquires Dynamic Renewables with Minority Investment from NorthWestern Energy

A fund managed by Ares Management's Infrastructure Opportunities strategy has acquired Dynamic Renewables, a U.S.-based developer, owner and operator of anaerobic digestion and renewable natural gas (RNG) projects. An unregulated affiliate of NorthWestern Energy also took a small minority stake; the investments will support development, construction and expansion of Dynamic's pipeline and operating assets, including the BC Organics facility in Wisconsin.
