FactSet Acquires CUSIP Global Services from S&P Global

FactSet completed the acquisition of CUSIP Global Services (CGS) from S&P Global Inc. for approximately $1.925 billion, adding CGS into its Content and Technology Solutions business. CGS will continue to steward the CUSIP system in partnership with the American Bankers Association, and FactSet financed the transaction with a combination of senior notes, new credit facilities and cash on hand.
