SeaFort Capital Makes Majority Investment in Parts for Trucks, Inc.

SeaFort Capital has made a majority investment in Parts for Trucks, Inc., a Dartmouth, Nova Scotia-based distributor and service provider for heavy-duty truck parts operating 16 locations across Atlantic Canada and Ontario. The deal is SeaFort's first platform investment from Fund II and will support Parts for Trucks' growth strategy through new products, service expansion, greenfield initiatives and strategic acquisitions while the existing senior leadership team remains in place.

DalFort Capital Partners' portfolio companies completed two add-on acquisitions: Key Polymer Holdings acquired Durant Performance Coatings (Revere, MA) and Polymer Adhesives Holdings acquired Volunteer Adhesives (Lafayette, TN). Both deals expand the platforms' manufacturing footprints and product portfolios across industrial, infrastructure, marine and packaging end-markets.

HelpSystems (Fortra) Acquires Digital Defense

HelpSystems (now rebranded as Fortra) acquired Digital Defense, a provider of vulnerability management and threat assessment solutions, to broaden its cybersecurity and security-assessment product suite. The acquisition adds Digital Defense's cloud-native vulnerability scanning engine and US-based penetration-testing services to HelpSystems' existing portfolio, strengthening capability coverage across healthcare, legal, financial services and other industries.

TELEO Capital Acquires Industrial Defender from Capgemini America

Fairbanks Morse Defense (Arcline) Acquires Vestdavit

Fairbanks Morse Defense, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Vestdavit, a Bergen-based supplier of davits and advanced boat-handling systems, from its four owners for an undisclosed amount. The deal expands FMD's marine handling and OEM capabilities and adds Vestdavit's manufacturing site in Poland plus service centers in the Netherlands and Seattle to FMD's global footprint.
