Forward Air Corporation entered into a definitive agreement to combine with Omni Logistics in a cash-and-stock transaction to create a scaled expedited LTL logistics provider. Omni shareholders were to receive $150 million in cash plus Forward stock and preferred stock, with the deal expected to close in the second half of 2023.
