Freedom Pet Supplies, a Novacap portfolio company, has acquired Trueman Distribution Ltd., a long-standing pet products distributor headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. The add-on purchase gives Freedom Pet a Western Canada hub as part of its strategy to build a truly national distribution network across Canada.
