Accenture Acquires Anser Advisory from Sterling Investment Partners

Accenture will acquire the Anser Advisory brand and roughly 920 employees focused on private sector and state and local projects, while Markon Solutions (about 280 employees) — Anser's federal consulting business — was retained by seller Sterling Investment Partners; terms were not disclosed.

Southfield Mezzanine Capital provided a unitranche debt and equity financing package to support the acquisition; senior leadership from DHS will join Anser in key executive roles.

Sterling Investment Partners Recapitalizes Anser Advisory

Sterling Investment Partners IV LP and affiliated investors made a significant equity investment in Anser Advisory and acquired Round Table Capital Partners' (RTC) interests as part of a recapitalization. Anser management rolled equity and will partner with Sterling to support the firm's growth and build-up opportunity in capital program advisory and construction/program management services.
