Accenture Acquires Anser Advisory from Sterling Investment Partners

Accenture has acquired Anser Advisory to expand its capital project and infrastructure delivery capabilities in North America. Accenture will acquire the Anser Advisory brand and roughly 920 employees focused on private sector and state and local projects, while Markon Solutions (about 280 employees) — Anser's federal consulting business — was retained by seller Sterling Investment Partners; terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition — from Ascent's financial sponsor Sycamore Hill Capital Partners — expands ACS Group's geographic footprint and strengthens its IT and life-sciences staffing capabilities as ACS pushes toward the $1 billion revenue milestone.

Anser Advisory, a portfolio company of RTC Partners, has acquired DHS Consulting, a Southern California–based program, project and construction management firm with more than 140 employees. Southfield Mezzanine Capital provided a unitranche debt and equity financing package to support the acquisition; senior leadership from DHS will join Anser in key executive roles.
