Audax Private Equity completed a strategic growth investment in Flow Control Holdings (FCH), a Chicago-based provider of sanitary and high-purity flow components serving food, beverage and pharmaceutical producers. The transaction follows The Edgewater Funds' sale of its ownership interest in FCH; Phil Pejovich will continue to lead the company alongside the existing management team.

Flow Control Holdings (FCH), a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, acquired sanitary-aftermarket specialists DSO Fluid Handling Company, Inc. and Flowtrend, Inc. The add-on deals (terms undisclosed) expand FCH's product offering and aftermarket capabilities for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical markets, with DSO maintaining a New Jersey office and Flowtrend operating from Houston, Texas.

Flow Control Holdings, LLC, a newly formed platform backed by Edgewater Growth Capital Partners IV, L.P., has acquired Steel & O’Brien Manufacturing, Inc., a New York-based manufacturer and distributor of sanitary stainless-steel fittings, valves and tubing. The transaction is the first add-on for the Flow Control Holdings platform as it pursues complementary flow-control product and service acquisitions across food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical end markets.

EagleTree Capital Acquires Andronaco Industries

EagleTree Capital, on behalf of its fund EagleTree Partners V, has acquired Andronaco Industries, a vertically integrated designer, manufacturer, and distributor of corrosion-resistant polymer and composite flow control products. Andronaco's management will remain in place; EagleTree plans to support organic and inorganic growth, accelerate product development, and expand the company's geographic and end-market reach. Terms were not disclosed.

Strahman, a Bethlehem, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of washdown equipment, sampling valves and valve automation serving pharmaceutical, food & beverage and industrial markets, will join Flow Control’s platform as an add-on to expand product capabilities and end-market coverage.

Andronaco Industries Acquires Diamond Companies (Diamond Fiberglass & Diamond Services)

Andronaco Industries has acquired Diamond Companies — including Diamond Fiberglass and Diamond Services — and will rebrand the combined business as Diamond Fiberglass Systems and Services. The acquisition expands Andronaco's corrosion-resistant flow control and fluid management capabilities by adding FRP tank and vessel fabrication plus on-site non-metallic field services, broadening its end-to-end solutions for chemical, semiconductor, water/wastewater and clean-energy customers.
