Danaher Acquires Aldevron for $9.6 Billion

Danaher Corporation entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aldevron from EQT Private Equity for an enterprise value of approximately USD 9.6 billion. Aldevron, headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota with ~600 employees and additional operations in Madison, Wisconsin, will operate as a standalone company within Danaher's Life Sciences segment to expand Danaher's capabilities in genomic medicine and biologics manufacturing.

Bionano Genomics Acquires BioDiscovery

Bionano Genomics agreed to acquire BioDiscovery, a provider of NxClinical genomics analysis software, in a deal worth up to $100 million in cash and equity. The acquisition will integrate BioDiscovery's platform-agnostic analysis and reporting tools with Bionano's optical genome mapping technology to accelerate variant analysis and broaden Bionano's market reach; BioDiscovery founder Soheil Shams will join Bionano as Chief Informatics Officer.

AbCellera Acquires TetraGenetics

AbCellera Biologics Inc. acquired TetraGenetics, Inc. in an all-cash transaction to integrate TetraGenetics' recombinant transmembrane protein expression platform into AbCellera's antibody discovery technology stack. The acquisition expands AbCellera's ability to generate antibodies against difficult-to-drug ion channels, GPCRs and other transmembrane targets, and includes upfront and milestone-based payments.

Eurobio Scientific Acquires GenDx (Genome Diagnostics B.V.)

Paris-based Eurobio Scientific has acquired all outstanding shares of Dutch transplant diagnostics specialist GenDx (Genome Diagnostics B.V.), following a share purchase agreement signed on August 17. The acquisition expands Eurobio's molecular diagnostics portfolio in transplantation and secures the company legacy with proceeds funding a GenDx foundation established by the founders.

Danaher Acquires Precision NanoSystems

Danaher Corporation has acquired Vancouver-based Precision NanoSystems (PNI), a developer of lipid nanoparticle delivery technologies and microfluidic manufacturing platforms for genetic medicines. PNI will join Danaher's Life Sciences platform to expand its capabilities in mRNA and genetic-medicine development and complement existing portfolio companies such as Cytiva and Pall.

CellCarta Acquires Biogazelle

The acquisition creates a Center of Excellence for complex genomic biomarker assay development within CellCarta and broadens its service offering for pharmaceutical and biotech clients across discovery and clinical stages.
