Together AI has acquired CodeSandbox, a Amsterdam-based provider of cloud development environments, to embed a built-in code interpreter into the Together Inference Platform. The acquisition aims to enable native code execution for generative AI use cases such as agentic workflows, data analysis, and AI-assisted development.

Sandbox Acquires Teachit from AQA

Sandbox, the London-based operating platform for digital education products, has acquired Teachit, a UK teacher resource provider, from education charity AQA. The deal adds Teachit’s library of 18,000+ resources and 550,000-teacher community to Sandbox’s Learning portfolio and is intended to accelerate international growth and collaborate with Sandbox’s US-based TeacherVision to serve over 2 million teachers.

Sandbox & Co Acquires PlayKids and Leiturinha from Movile

London-based Sandbox & Co acquired Brazilian children's edutainment platform PlayKids (including Leiturinha) from majority owner Movile. As part of the deal Movile will become a minority investor in Sandbox, and PlayKids CEO Guilherme Martins will lead Sandbox's expansion into Latin America.

Learning.com Acquires Codesters and Vidcode

The acquisition integrates the Codesters team (with founder Gordon Smith joining as VP of Product Strategy) and expands Learning.com's K-12 computer science and digital literacy offerings to its existing customer base.

Skillsoft Acquires Codecademy

Skillsoft acquired Codecademy in a transaction valued at approximately $525 million in cash and stock, combining Codecademy's interactive coding platform and roughly 40 million registered learners with Skillsoft’s enterprise learning business. The deal expands Skillsoft’s Technology & Developer capabilities, creates cross‑selling opportunities across Skillsoft’s large corporate customer base, and is expected to be immediately accretive to bookings, revenue growth, and gross margins.
