Ardent Health Acquires 18 Urgent Care Clinics from NextCare Urgent Care

Ardent Health (NYSE: ARDT) acquired 18 urgent care clinics across New Mexico and Oklahoma from NextCare Urgent Care. Six clinics will operate as part of Lovelace Health System in New Mexico and 12 will become part of Hillcrest HealthCare System in Oklahoma, expanding Ardent’s ambulatory footprint in both markets.

The acquired agencies had a collective hospice average daily census of approximately 90 patients prior to the transaction and will be integrated into Pennant’s existing home health and hospice operations.
